Make a Difference!

The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is a publicly-funded school board that provides excellence in Catholic education to over 12,000 students in 32 elementary schools, five secondary schools and five adult learning sites, two outdoor learning centres and employs over 1,400 full-time equivalent staff.

The ALCDSB covers a wide geographic area of more than 16,000 square kilometres from Whitney in the north, Picton in the South, Trenton in the West and Kingston in the East.

Our location offers easy access to tourism destinations, provincial parks, heritage sites, wineries, hiking trails, boutique shopping in downtown business districts, cafes and farm to table dining experiences. One of the greatest benefits of working in the ALCDSB is being centrally located in South Eastern Ontario with easy access to Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal.
