The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is a publicly-funded school board that provides excellence in Catholic education to over 12,000 students in 32 elementary schools, five secondary schools and five adult learning sites, two outdoor learning centres and employs over 1,400 full-time equivalent staff.

Funding opportunities for association memberships (OMLTA, ACPI, CASLT), DELF training, and Additional Qualifications in FSL.
Cultural experiences for both students and FSL educators are encouraged and funded.
Fulsome classroom and professional resources are provided with ongoing training and support. These centre around the Science of Reading, oral communication, and action-oriented tasks.
